Studio Artifice
A New York studio making identity systems and web environments — built to outlast the launch, the rebrand, the platform migration.
We are principal-led and deliberately small: four to six engagements a year. Every engagement routes 15% of its fee to Artifice NYC, the 501(c)(3) that runs our cultural programming. Commercial work funds the research; the research sharpens the commercial work.

We build
Handbuilt, maintainable front-ends. Spatially considered architecture. Editorially precise copy and typography. Identity kits the client can extend without losing the thread.
We don't
AI-slopped landing pages. Vibe-coded one-offs. Framer template re-skins. "End-to-end" engagements that are hours on a rate card. If a template does it in a week, we're not the studio.
